ProQuest has dropped the CSA moniker from its name in a bid to simplify its branding. The CSA brand will be kept on in familiar services like CSA Illumina.
ProQuest CSA was born when ProQuest Information and Learning and Cambridge Information Group’s CSA merged in February.
“We surveyed our customers and users and discovered that brand recognition was high among both groups for the name ProQuest,” said Sharlene Tilley, ProQuest director of international marketing.
The name change surprised some observers because the New York Stock Exchange suspended trading in shares of the new ProQuest’s original parent, ProQuest Company, after accounting irregularities were discovered .
