Government breaks data law

The Department for Communities and Local Government breached the Data Protection Act in failing to supply an individual with information it held about that person. The Information Commissioner’s Office investigated the department after a complaint had been lodged and found it had not released all relevant documents. The ICO has now issued an enforcement notice
