TFPL merges with Intelligent Resources

TFPL, the recruitment, training and consulting division of specialist information and knowledge management company IDOX has merged its recruitment division with Intelligent resources, a specialist permanent recruitment business

The recruitment business will initially operate as TFPL Intelligent Resources, and build on the strength of both brands, TFPL told IWR.

The new combined business aims at offering the market significant improvements in all of its combined service lines and offering seamless, consistent and permanent recruitment solutions to complementary market segments.

Darron Chapman will continue as managing director of TFPL. He said: “We are keen to maintain the strengths of both TFPL and Intelligent Resources’ recruitment businesses and to capitalise on the skills and experience of the senior management team, so there are no plans for departures.”

Clients and customers of both the organisations will benefit from an enlarged management team with increased senior-level capacity to dedicate to solving challenges whilst offering broader market coverage and reach, for example through an enlarged vendor/commercial practice and improved coverage of analytical, intelligence and research disciplines.

Chapman added that this merger is a strategic development for our combined businesses. He said: “Our customers and clients will benefit from the synergies within the combined day-to-day service as well as extended market reach.”

The deal fulfils Intelligent Resources’ ambition to consolidate market share as part of an enlarged business whilst offering existing clients and customers access to valuable new products and services such as TFPL’s training and consultancy solutions. The new outfit said the move provided additional collaborative benefits including working with a dedicated team, committed to delivering market-leading recruitment services and offering greater potential for the staff of both businesses to enrich their career development opportunities.
