The flute belonging to Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson is being auctioned on eBay to raise money for the Bikers Against Drunk Drivers charity.
Anderson's trademark instrument, which he often played while standing on one leg, was given to the charity on 22 August after a sell out concert in Montreal.
The flute reached its reserve price today and, with a day and half still to go, is valued at $1,525.
The charity aims to raise awareness of the problems of drink driving by visiting trade shows and rock concerts.
